Message : Sitting here watching some NASCAR on SpeedChannel and noticing that they are running a sustained 7K RPM at around 190MPH, around and around and around (god I hate NASCAR), would there be any reason a VG30DETT couldn't do the same?

: Granted, they rebuild these engines after every race and sometimes engines do blow in the course of the race, but would for example a 700+HP TTZ with one huge ass radiator and proper suspension/tires setup, would a Z be able to hang with these guys for the duration of a full race? Would the engine/turbos be able to perform this way?

If you did something about cooling & did something about the oil loadup in the heads from the highback/high G turns.. sure. The open wheel racers used to have turbos & run 500 miles...
